Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in India is seeking a qualified Service Engineer to participate in customer meetings on technical and RAMS issues and to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in FT systems.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on field experience, strong communication in English and Hindi/Marathi, and proficient IT skills including MS Office. You will manage spares, maintain failure databases, and prepare site reports.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical/electronics degree with solid academic record.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a service engineer.
• Strong analytical and fault-troubleshooting abilities.
• Good English, Hindi/Marathi communication.

Candidate Profile

Qualification - Good academic back ground in mechanical or electrical/electronics degree

Experience - Minimum experience of 3-5 years of working as Service engineer

Required Skill Set

• Good technical understanding of electrical and pneumatic circuits. Relevant rolling stock experience is preferable


• Should have the experience in troubleshooting


• Should have very good communication skill in English, Hindi / Marati


• Flexible attitude to work in changing environment


• Presentation skills


• Strong analytical skills


• IT literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft office applications
