Job summary

Yagya Buildcon is seeking a Site Engineer Construction to lead day-to-day site activities, ensure quality, and coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams. You will review drawings, perform setting out, monitor progress, and maintain records to ensure timely project completion.

Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering background with 3–15 years of field experience, knowledge of civil and structural works, and a strong focus on safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3-15 years of experience in construction site execution.
• Good knowledge of civil and structural works.
• Drawing interpretation.
• Quantity estimation.
• Quality control and site coordination.
• Contractor-side or EPC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day construction activities as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, labour teams and supervisors to ensure timely execution of work.
• Check drawings, setting out, levels, dimensions and site measurements before and during execution.
• Ensure quality of workmanship and compliance with approved materials, specifications and inspection procedures.
• Monitor daily progress, labour deployment, material availability and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate with the planning, procurement, QA/QC, safety and MEP teams for smooth site execution.
• Prepare daily progress reports, site measurements, work records and inspection requests.
• Ensure proper material utilisation, minimise wastage and maintain material reconciliation records.
• Implement site safety procedures and ensure compliance with PPE requirements and safe working practices.
• Identify site issues, drawing discrepancies and execution delays, and coordinate with the project team for timely resolution.
