Role Description

The Site Civil Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring work is executed according to approved civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications. The role includes coordinating with contractors and vendors, monitoring site progress, checking quality of materials and workmanship, and resolving technical issues that arise on site. The Site Civil Engineer will support planning and layout of infrastructure, assist with stormwater and drainage solutions, ensure safety and compliance with relevant codes, and prepare regular site reports and documentation for project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings and standards.
• Experience working as Civil Engineers on residential or infrastructure projects, with proven on-site execution capabilities.
• Skills in project Planning related to civil works, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
• Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles and practical experience with drainage, sewer, and site grading solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, basic MS Office) and familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, commitment to safety, and willingness to visit and supervise work across different site locations as needed.
