Job summary

Aptiv in Bangalore, India is seeking a Simulation Engineer – SIL/HIL to develop and execute virtual validation environments for embedded software, enabling early-stage verification with model-based development and simulation frameworks.

You will design simulation models for automotive ECUs, optimize performance, and ensure compatibility with MCU platforms like Renesas, Aurix, and S32, working with C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Radar Signal Processing and Object Tracking
• Strong experience in MATLAB/Simulink
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++
• Understanding of embedded systems and AUTOSAR basics
• Hands-on experience with CAN/Ethernet communication protocols and CANoe
• Experience with JIRA, Git/Gerrit
• Knowledge of model-in-the-loop (MIL) vs SIL workflows
• Windows and Linux
