Hinduja Tech is seeking a Duty Cycles Simulation Engineer to analyze duty cycles for conventional and electrified drivetrains and define design requirements in collaboration with chief engineering and product release teams.
The candidate will model propulsion system driveline components, develop simplified 0D/1D models, and process drive cycle data to predict duty cycles and durability targets for ePT systems.
The Powertrain component Duty Cycles Simulation Engineer is responsible for duty cycle/mission profile analysis for conventional and electrified architecture with specific focus on driveline components ( e.g shafts , differential ring gear etc) and define/assess design requirements with chief engineering and product release teams
Among the responsibilities of the function, the following stand out:
Masters Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Industrial, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, or related Engineering field
Knowledge of vehicle Propulsion Systems including internal combustion engines, transmissions, axles, drivelines, batteries, and eMotor
Knowledge in the disciplines of hybrid control strategies or energy management optimization
General knowledge of statistical analysis and ability to analyze large data to draw conclusions
Commercial codes including, but not limited to, MATLAB /Simulink, Stateflow.
