Job summary

Aptiv is hiring an Advanced Software Engineer in Bengaluru to integrate ADAS algorithms into AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive or POSIX platforms. You will work across perception, planning and control teams to ensure robust deployment and performance optimization.

The role requires 5–8 years in automotive embedded software or ADAS, with strong C++ and embedded C skills and experience in AUTOSAR environments. Join us to advance safe mobility and scalable connectivity.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of Automotive Embedded Software development or ADAS algorithm integration.
• Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related field.
• Experience integrating embedded software components in AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive or POSIX.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and configure ADAS algorithm software components into AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive, or POSIX-based platforms.
• Support platform migration activities and software architecture alignment across customer programs.
• Analyze interface definitions, data models, and communication frameworks for algorithm deployment.
• Perform debugging and root-cause analysis of integration and vehicle-level issues.
• Support software release, configuration management, and deployment activities across customer projects.
• Collaborate with perception, motion planning, and control teams to ensure seamless ADAS feature integration.
• Analyze and optimize algorithm performance using sensor data (camera, radar, lidar, ultrasonic).
• Develop and maintain software tools and scripts for data analysis, visualization, and testing.
• Investigate and resolve ADAS performance issues with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate and configure ADAS algorithm software components into AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive, or POSIX-based platforms.

Your Background

• B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech in any specialization with an experience of 5-8 year’s experience.
• 5 - 8 years' experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development or ADAS Algorithm development.
• Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related degree field
• Critical & proactive thinker with excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills
• Strong C++ development skills.
• Proficient in Embedded C development with experience in debugging tools and code profiling and optimization.
• Experience integrating embedded software components in AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive, or POSIX environments.
• Working knowledge of software architecture, IPC, threading, synchronization, and memory management.
• Familiar with communication protocols like CAN, Flexray, Ethernet and working with Tools like CANoe/CAN Hands on experience working with build management tools like CMake/Bazel.
• Good understanding of ASPICE.
• Experience with version control and issue tracking on large collaborative projects (Plastic, Git, Jira, Jenkins or similar).
