Qualifications

  • Proficiency in electromagnetic simulation tools and SI parameters (jitter, crosstalk, attenuation).
  • Experience with high-speed measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDRs).
  • Familiarity with PCB/Package design tools (Cadence, Mentor Graphics) and layout optimization.

As a Signal Integrity Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, simulating, and optimizing electrical interconnects, ensuring exceptional performance and reliability in next-generation technologies. Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and optimize signal integrity solutions for high-speed platforms, boards, and packages, ensuring robust performance across complex interconnects.

  • Perform detailed simulations of electrical structures, guiding physical implementation and design trade-offs to enhance product quality.

  • Design and characterize test structures, leveraging high-speed equipment to correlate simulations with real-world measurements.

  • Define signal integrity rules, document characterization reports, and provide guidelines for end customers as part of platform design documentation.

  • Collaborate with IP design teams and system-on-chip (SoC) integration teams to maximize platform-level solution space and meet targeted requirements.

  • Develop electrical specifications and contribute to the establishment of new industry standards for next-generation interfaces.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field and 3+ years of hands-on experience in signal integrity design and analysis OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience OR PhD in a related field with no prior professional experience.

  • Proficiency in electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, CST, ADS) and expertise in analyzing signal integrity parameters such as jitter, crosstalk, and attenuation.

  • Experience with high-speed measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, and time-domain reflectometers.

  • Familiarity with PCB/Package design tools (e.g., Cadence, Mentor Graphics) and layout optimization strategies.

  • Preferred Qualifications- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to debug challenges in high-speed signal environments.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork across diverse technical domains.

  • Passion for advancing industry standards and driving innovation in signal integrity design.
