Responsibilities

• Report to showroom on time and ensure punctual opening.
• Mark and monitor daily staff attendance.
• Ensure showroom readiness before business hours.
• Support sales executives in handling customers and closing sales.
• Address customer queries, concerns, and special requirements.
• Build and maintain cordial relationships with customers and staff.
• Check the working condition of Gold Testing Equipment.
• Approve old gold by verifying weight and purity.
• Verify old gold stock, cash, and related documentation at day end.
• Study stock and sales reports regularly.
• Plan strategies to increase walk-ins and improve showroom performance.
• Verify daily accounts and bank transactions.
• Monitor showroom expenses within approved limits.
• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and documentation.
• Manage showroom staff and drive performance.
• Motivate staff to achieve sales targets and upselling.
• Arrange training for skill enhancement and performance.
• Plan and execute local marketing and promotions to increase footfall.
• Monitor JSAP / JAP enrolment and follow-ups.
• Handle audit-related requirements and ensure ISO/SOP compliance.
• Renew statutory licenses in time.
• Manage ISO documentation and compliance.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Showroom Opening & Daily Operations

• Report to the showroom on time and ensure punctual opening as per schedule.
• Mark and monitor daily staff attendance.
• Ensure showroom readiness before business hours.

2. Sales Support & Customer Engagement

• Support sales executives in handling customers and closing sales.
• Address customer queries, concerns, and special requirements.
• Build and maintain cordial relationships with customers and showroom staff.

3. Old Gold Verification & Gold Testing

• Check the working condition of the Gold Testing Machine (X-Ray Compact Karat Meter).
• Approve old gold by verifying weight, purity, and condition.
• Verify old gold stock, cash, and related documentation at the end of the day.

4. Stock Management & Sales Optimization

• Study stock and sales reports regularly.
• Optimize available stock for better conversion and sales.
• Plan strategies to increase walk-ins and improve showroom performance.

5. Financial & Account Control

• Verify daily accounts and bank transactions.
• Monitor and control showroom expenses within approved limits.
• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and documentation.

6. Staff Management & Training

• Manage showroom staff and ensure a disciplined, productive work environment.
• Motivate staff to achieve sales targets and upselling objectives.
• Arrange and provide training for skill enhancement and performance improvement.

7. Marketing & Promotion Activities

• Plan and execute local marketing and promotional activities to increase footfall.
• Motivate and monitor staff for JSAP / JAP enrolment and follow-ups.

8. Audit, Compliance & ISO

• Handle audit-related requirements and queries.
• Ensure timely renewal of statutory licenses.
• Manage ISO documentation and ensure compliance with standards and SOPs.

9. Showroom Maintenance & Safety

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the showroom at all times.
• Check the working condition of all electrical and electronic equipment.
• Implement necessary safety measures for staff, customers, and assets.
• Monitor gifts, packing materials, discounts, and consumables.

10. Staff Welfare & Issue Resolution

• Address and resolve operational or official issues of staff.
• Monitor and manage boys and girls' room facilities.
• Handle donation requests and interactions with external parties.

11. End-of-Day Closing & Reporting

• Ensure all stock is secured in the locker room.
• Confirm all electrical and electronic equipment is switched off.
• Time-lock the locker room as per SOP.
• Send Day Completion Report to HO Admin.
• Submit detailed daily showroom performance and status reports.
