Job summary

HabileLabs in Gurugram, India is seeking a skilled Shopify Plus developer to build Remix-based custom apps, extend Shopify themes, and integrate with Admin and Storefront APIs.

You will implement Webhooks for real-time data, design backend services with PostgreSQL and Redis, work with Kafka for event-driven processing, and collaborate with Product, DevOps, and QA to ensure end-to-end delivery.

Leadership experience and proficiency with AI-assisted IDEs (Cursor, Copilot, Claude) are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Shopify Plus ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with Remix (custom Remix apps).
• Expertise in custom Shopify app development (Admin APIs, Storefront APIs).
• Solid understanding of Shopify Webhooks and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Apache Kafka for messaging and streaming.
• Strong database experience with Redis (caching, queues, sessions) and PostgreSQL.
• Experience in building Shopify Theme Extensions / App Extensions.
• Understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Use of AI based IDEs like Cursor, Copilot, Claude is must to have.
• Leadership experience to guide a team of developers.
