Qualifications

• B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with 15+ years of relevant experience.
• B.Sc in Physics/Chemistry with 20+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in continuous production processes within fertilizer/chemical manufacturing.
• Hands-on exposure to emergency handling and troubleshooting in industrial plant operations.
• Experience in Phosphoric Acid, Sulphuric Acid, Complex Fertilizer, Utilities, Ammonia storage.
• Good communication, leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage overall plant operations during the assigned shift to ensure safe, smooth, and uninterrupted production.
• Monitor continuous production processes, equipment performance, and critical operating parameters.
• Ensure production targets, product quality, process efficiency, and operational reliability are achieved.
• Handle emergency situations, process upsets, equipment failures, and other plant-related incidents effectively.
• Ensure strict compliance with plant safety procedures, environmental standards, and operational protocols.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, utilities, and other departments to resolve operational issues and minimize downtime.
• Monitor operations related to phosphoric acid, sulphuric acid, complex fertilizers, utilities, and/or ammonia storage systems.
• Ensure proper shift handover, maintenance of shift logs, production reports, and other operational records.
• Guide and coordinate shift personnel to maintain discipline, safety, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in continuous process production, plant operations, shift management, and emergency handling, preferably in phosphoric acid, sulphuric acid, complex fertilizers, or utilities and ammonia storage systems.

• Hands-on exposure to emergency handling and troubleshooting in industrial plant operations.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Sulphuric Acid Production
  • Complex Fertilizer Manufacturing
  • Utilities Operations
  • Ammonia Storage Systems
• Good communication, leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with extensive experience in continuous-process chemical or fertilizer plants, strong safety awareness, and the ability to manage shift operations and respond effectively to emergencies will be preferred.
