HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED in Halol, Gujarat, India, seeks a production shift supervisor for safe, efficient casting operations. You will monitor processes, manage staff, and maintain data logs as per the production plan to meet quality and delivery targets.

The role requires 6-8 years in casting, strong English communication, and collaboration with Planning, Purchase, Quality and Project management to keep schedules on track.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical engineering.
• 6–8 years' experience in casting processes.
• Experience in epoxy casting industry is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the shift operation is run in compliance with health & safety policies and guidelines.
• Shift Monitoring - assist management in allocating, coordinating, and overseeing shift orders and work plan execution.
• Review material availability on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Provide regular feedback and make recommendations to management on production line issues.
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchase, Quality and Project management for smooth operation.
• Serve as leader during shifts to oversee cooperation and resolve technical/quality problems.
• Focus on volume, efficiency and on-time delivery based on weekly/monthly planning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations and guidelines.
• Uphold Hitachi Energy's safety and integrity values.

The Opportunity

Our mission is to ensure the safe and efficient production of Bushings by meticulously managing materials, personnel, and equipment. We are committed to maintaining precise data logs for each process, analyzing data to keep each cycle within defined limits, and rigorously examining the daily output as per production plan with highest safety and quality standards. Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex. Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.

How you'll make an impact

• Ensure the shift operation is run in compliance with health & safety policies and guidelines of Hitachi energy.


• Shift Monitoring - Assisting management and shift team in allocating, coordinating, and overseeing shift orders and work plan execution within production lines during the shift.


• Review material availability on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.


• Providing regular feedback and makes recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line, including production line organization, shifting priorities and possible critical situations.


• Coordinating with different functions (i.e. Planning, Purchase, Quality and Project management) for smooth operation.


• Serving as leader during shifts to oversee cooperation and the resolution of technical/quality problems and logistic issues.


• Metrics Reinforces focus on volume, efficiency and on time delivery based on weekly and monthly planning.


• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• Degree in engineering / Diploma / B.E / B.tech in Electrical / Mechanical engineering


• Relevant experience of 6-8 years in casting process OR equivalent process with overall experience not exceeding 10 years.


• Experience in Epoxy casting Industry will be added an advantage.


• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
