Job summary

JSW Steel Coated Products Limited requires a Shift Incharge - Electrical_Project to lead maintenance for galvanizing and coating lines. The role focuses on ensuring equipment availability, reducing downtime, and adhering to SOPs for preventive and breakdown maintenance.

You will manage spare parts, conduct toolbox talks, maintain shift logs, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring HSE and environmental and safety standards on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience with galvanizing, color coating line, finishing line and EOT crane maintenance.
• Ability to ensure equipment availability and reliability.
• Adherence to planned maintenance schedules as per SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring availability and reliability of equipment.
• Reducing equipment downtime and adhering to the Planned Maintenance Schedule as per Sap.
• Maintaining actual availability of spares and consumables.
• Attending routine corrective, preventive, breakdown maintenance per SOP.
• Updating shift logbooks periodically.
• Ensuring HSE compliance and proper housekeeping.

1-Shift In charge Electrical Maintenance

2- Experience with galvanizing, color coating line, finishing line & eot crane maintenance.

• Ensuring Availability and Reliability of the equipment.


• Reduction in Equipment Downtime and adhering to the Planned Maintenance Schedule as

per Sap.

• Maintaining Actual availability of Spares & Consumables.


• Attending routine Corrective / Preventive / Breakdown / Maintenance Job as per SOP.


• Achieve Budgeted Department Financial Goals.


• Updating of Shift Logbook Periodically.


• Ensuring HSE Compliance & Proper Housekeeping of Workplace.


• Initiating Continuous Improvement programs to enhance Equipment Capability.


• Co-ordinating & monitoring related lines.


• Ensuring Capacity utilization of equipment.


• Ensuring Environmental Compliance during the Shift.


• Ensuring Safety Compliance during the Shift.


• Organizing Toolbox talk & records.


• Recording Repetitive failure analysis reports & appropriate corrective action to enhance reliability of the equipment
