Job summary

JSW Steel Coated Products Limited is seeking a Shift In-charge Electrical Maintenance to lead electrical upkeep for galvanizing and finishing lines. You will drive reliability, monitor downtime, and coordinate with related lines to meet maintenance targets.

The role requires overseeing routine preventive/breakdown maintenance, maintaining spares, and ensuring HSE compliance on the shift.

Qualifications

• BE preferred.
• Experience with galvanizing and coating lines is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical maintenance for galvanizing and coating lines during shift.
• Ensure equipment availability and reliability, reducing downtime.
• Adhere to planned maintenance schedules as per SOP and SAP.
• Maintain spares and consumables inventory and shift logbooks.
• Ensure HSE compliance and proper housekeeping.
• Lead toolbox talks and initiate continuous improvement programs.

• 2- Experience with galvanizing, color coating line,finishing line & eot crane maintenance.
• 3. Ensuring Availability and Reliability of the equipment.
• 4. Reduction in Equipment Downtime and adhering to the Planned MaintenanceSchedule as per Sap.
• 5. Maintaining Actual availability of Spares & Consumables.
• 6. Attending routine Corrective / Preventive / Breakdown / Maintenance Job asper SOP.
• 7. Achieve Budgeted Department Financial Goals.
• 8. Updating of Shift Logbook Periodically.
• 9. Ensuring HSE Compliance & Proper Housekeeping of Workplace.
• 10. Initiating Continuous Improvement programs to enhance Equipment Capability.
• 11. Co-ordinating & monitoring related lines.
• 12. Ensuring Capacity utilization of equipment.
• 13. Ensuring Environmental Compliance during the Shift.
• 14. Ensuring Safety Compliance during the Shift.
• 15. Organizing Toolbox talk & records.
• 16. Recording Repetitive failure analysis reports & appropriate correctiveaction to enhance reliability of the equipment.
