Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is expanding its global technology capabilities with a new IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India. The Salesforce Developer II will design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and governance.

You will collaborate with global teams, drive DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing, and mentor teammates while delivering high-quality, compliant software that accelerates patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 5+ years of Salesforce development and solution delivery.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
• Expertise in Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, APIs and integration patterns.
• Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD deployment.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing rules and governance.
• Ability to collaborate with global teams and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience performing code reviews, solution reviews and release planning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and governance.
• Follow development standards to improve code quality and performance.
• Collaborate with Analysts, Product Owners, Architects and QA teams to translate requirements.
• Provide technical guidance through the software development lifecycle.
• Support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs and middleware.
• Drive Agile delivery practices, DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and lead incident resolution when needed.
• Identify opportunities to optimize applications using Salesforce capabilities and AI features.
• Mentor teammates and support career development and knowledge transfer.

Designed as a long-term investment, the Pune Hub will advance newer digital capabilities such as automation, data, AI, and cloud, and will include roles spanning end user services, application development, and enterprise platform teams. How you’ll make an impact:

• Support design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Serve as the technical developer for Salesforce projects and enhancements, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and best practices.
• Follow establish development standards to improve code quality, maintainability, and platform performance.
• Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support solution design discussions and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and compliance with established governance standards.
• Drive adoption of Agile delivery practices, DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide leadership during critical incident resolution.
• Identify opportunities to optimize existing applications and processes through Salesforce platform capabilities and emerging technologies.
• Provide coaching, training, and knowledge transfer to team members while supporting career development and technical growth.

What you’ll need (Required):

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development and solution delivery.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Apex
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Salesforce Flows
  • SOQL/SOSL
  • Salesforce APIs and Integration Patterns
  • Sales Cloud
  • Service Cloud
• Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD deployment methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and governance.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional global teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience performing code reviews, solution reviews, release planning, and technical estimations.

• Experience in highly regulated industries such as Medical Devices, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, or Life Sciences.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence technical direction and drive adoption of best practices.
• Experience with AI capabilities within Salesforce ecosystem, including Agentforce, Einstein AI, and predictive automation.
• Experience with ServiceNow and Jira.
