Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is establishing a new IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India, to build scalable Salesforce solutions and modern cloud-based capabilities. The role focuses on delivering end-to-end development using Apex, LWC, Flows, and integrations, with a strong emphasis on security and enterprise architecture.

You will collaborate with global teams, drive Agile and DevOps practices, review code, and mentor colleagues while shaping the platform's reliability and performance to accelerate patient

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of Salesforce development and solution delivery.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions with Apex, LWC, and Flows.
• Act as technical developer for Salesforce projects, aligning with EA, security, and best practices.
• Maintain code quality via established standards to improve performance.
• Collaborate with analysts, owners, architects, QA, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Guide SDLC design discussions and provide technical coaching.
• Integrate Salesforce with ERP and other apps using APIs and middleware.
• Ensure reliability, security, and governance of the platform.
• Promote Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing adoption.
• Troubleshoot production issues and lead during incidents.
• Identify optimization opportunities in Salesforce apps.
• Mentor team members and support career development.

The Hub strengthens the technology foundation that supports our business worldwide, working in close partnership with teams across regions to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions at scale. Designed as a long-term investment, the Pune Hub will advance newer digital capabilities such as automation, data, AI, and cloud, and will include roles spanning end user services, application development, and enterprise platform teams. Together, these teams will help Edwards operate more efficiently and accelerate innovation in support of our mission of advancing patient care.

How youll make an impact:

• Support design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Serve as the technical developer for Salesforce projects and enhancements, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and best practices.
• Follow establish development standards to improve code quality, maintainability, and platform performance.
• Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support solution design discussions and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and compliance with established governance standards.
• Drive adoption of Agile delivery practices, DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide leadership during critical incident resolution.
• Identify opportunities to optimize existing applications and processes through Salesforce platform capabilities and emerging technologies.
• Provide coaching, training, and knowledge transfer to team members while supporting career development and technical growth.

What youll need (Required):

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development and solution delivery.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required).
• Strong expertise in: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs and Integration Patterns, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud
• Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD deployment methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and governance.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional global teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience performing code reviews, solution reviews, release planning, and technical estimations.
