Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is expanding its IT Innovation Hub in Pune, seeking an experienced Salesforce developer to design and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions. You will collaborate across regions, promote best practices, and drive automation and integration initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, a strong command of Apex, LWC, Flows and APIs, and a Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of Salesforce development and solution delivery.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
• Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, APIs and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using modern platform capabilities.
• Serve as technical developer for Salesforce projects, aligning with architecture and security standards.
• Follow coding standards to improve quality and performance.
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners, architects, QA and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Guide solution design discussions and provide technical leadership throughout the lifecycle.
• Integrate Salesforce with ERP and enterprise applications using APIs and middleware.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and governance; drive DevOps and CI/CD adoption.
• Lead incident resolution and optimize existing applications with Salesforce capabilities.

Edwards Lifesciences is expanding its global technology capabilities with the launch of a new IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India. The Hub strengthens the technology foundation that supports our business worldwide, working in close partnership with teams across regions to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions at scale. Designed as a long-term investment, the Pune Hub will advance newer digital capabilities such as automation, data, AI, and cloud, and will include roles spanning end user services, application development, and enterprise platform teams. Together, these teams will help Edwards operate more efficiently and accelerate innovation in support of our mission of advancing patient care.

How you'll make an impact:

• Support design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Serve as the technical developer for Salesforce projects and enhancements, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and best practices.
• Follow establish development standards to improve code quality, maintainability, and platform performance.
• Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support solution design discussions and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and compliance with established governance standards.
• Drive adoption of Agile delivery practices, DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide leadership during critical incident resolution.
• Identify opportunities to optimize existing applications and processes through Salesforce platform capabilities and emerging technologies.
• Provide coaching, training, and knowledge transfer to team members while supporting career development and technical growth.

What you'll need (Required):

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development and solution delivery.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
• Strong expertise in: Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) Salesforce Flows SOQL/SOSL Salesforce APIs and Integration Patterns Sales Cloud Service Cloud
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and governance.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional global teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience performing code reviews, solution reviews, release planning, and technical estimations.

• Salesforce Certified Administrator.
• Salesforce Certified Application Architect.
• Salesforce Certified System Architect.
• Experience with Copado, Gearset, GitHub, JIRA, BitBucket.
• Proven experience integrating Salesforce with ERP platforms, SAS-based applications, and external customer-facing systems using APIs, middleware, and integration best practices.
• Experience supporting global implementations across multiple business units and geographies.
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as Medical Devices, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, or Life Sciences.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence technical direction and drive adoption of best practices.
• Experience with AI capabilities within Salesforce ecosystem, including Agentforce, Einstein AI, and predictive automation.
• Experience with ServiceNow and Jira.
