Sewer Maintenance Worker II (Equipment Operator)

The City of Cambridge is hiring for a Sewer Maintenance Worker II to inspect, repair, and maintain the city's sewer systems, storm drains, force mains, lift stations, and manholes. This position performs pipe repairs and installations, cleans and flushes mains, isolates breaks, operates construction equipment such as jackhammers and hydraulic tools, landscapes work sites, and maintains accurate records. Requires a High School diploma or GED, four years of sewer maintenance or related experience, and a valid driver’s license. The role involves very heavy physical labor (regularly lifting 50-75 lbs) with frequent exposure to outdoor elements, noise, and hazards. The City of Cambridge is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
