NewRocket is hiring a ServiceNow Platform Architect with ITOM experience to lead and mentor a team delivering large-scale professional services on the ServiceNow AI Platform. The role focuses on design, integration, and customization, with opportunities for certification training and career growth.

You will engage with clients to understand ITOM requirements, guide technical solutions, and ensure governance and quality across projects, while maintaining documentation and best practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience with ServiceNow ITOM implementation, administration, configuration or development.
• Experience with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST) and bi-directional integrations.
• Experience with mid servers and cloud-to-cloud integrations.
• Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated work experience in Computer Science/Engineering/IS.
• Willingness to pursue ServiceNow competency Certifications and Module Accreditations.

The Role

NewRocket is a global team made up of ServiceNow professionals who help our customers run and grow their ServiceNow environments. We are hiring a ServiceNow Platform Architect with ITOM experience. The Solution Architect is responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Software Engineers who provide the development of project professional services for customers. The architect will implement and develop customizations based on functional and technical requirements using leading practices and internal code standards on large-scale more complex professional services projects.

What You Will Be Doing

• As a ServiceNow platform architect you will interface with end-users, IT teams and key stakeholders to gather systems requirements for ITOM experience.
• Strong experience with ITOM processes and can guide customers through understanding technical solutions to their business requirements
• You will customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications, modules, configure Application UI, Workflow, work orders, transfer orders, inventory, and technician locations
• Experience in Flow designer, Business rules, Scripting, Intergrations & Logic implementations
• Configuring integrations between ServiceNow via REST/SOAP web and other applications
• Strong experience with ITOM and can guide customers through understanding technical solutions to their business requirements
• Mentor project crew members by managing peer reviews and provide technical guidance.
• Reflect impact assessment rules within service maps and validate with technical SMEs and stakeholders
• Participate in user acceptance testing of the resulting maps, impact rules and event management work
• Promote your update sets and data across applicable SN environments
• Remediate any production incidents that arise related to this scope
• Align with existing SN technical lead for map/event work to ensure consistent approach that does not break shared patterns
• Proactively maintain operational documentation and SOPs to reduce support risk & inefficiency

What You Bring Along

• 8+ years’ experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of ServiceNow in ITOM.
• Experience with integration between ServiceNow and other systems/platforms using both mid servers and cloud to cloud
• Experience working with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST) and any bi-directional, automated integration between two systems.
• Data Extraction Technologies (e.g. JDBC, ODBC) or ETL integrations
• Knowledge of all aspects of ServiceNow scripting including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and Script Includes
• Thrives in strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
• Ability to create technical design documents and user documentation
• Adapts quickly in a fast-paced environment!

Education:

• A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or demonstrated work experience

Certifications & Knowledge

The candidate must be willing and able to continue their education within the ServiceNow platform and beyond. It is expected that the candidate will be able to complete ServiceNow competency Certifications as well as Module Accreditations.

Preferred Certifications:

• ITIL Foundation
• ServiceNow CSA and CAD
