Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks an HRSD Solution Architect to drive the end-to-end ServiceNow HRSD implementation, maintenance, and optimization. You will translate HR requirements into scalable technical solutions, lead architecture workstreams, and ensure governance and security across multi-country deployments.

The role requires strong communication in English, hands-on HRSD expertise, and experience with integrations to SAP SuccessFactors and Workday.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience with 6+ years in ServiceNow and HRSD.
• 2–3 full-cycle HRSD implementations with strong design leadership.
• CSA and HRSD Implementation Specialist certifications; CAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end ServiceNow HRSD architecture (Employee Center, Case & Knowledge).
• Lead design workshops and produce integration diagrams and data models.
• Define governance, coding standards, and platform best practices.
• Architect integrations with SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, payroll via REST/SOAP.
• Provide technical leadership and review designs for performance and security.

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a HRSD Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in the successful implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the ServiceNow HRSD system, ensuring it meets the organization’s needs and drives efficiency and productivity. Your knowledge kit should include a broad technical knowledge and experience across varying infrastructure requirements, development, system architecture and design.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Design and own the end-to-end technical architecture for ServiceNow HRSD implementations, including Employee Center, Case and Knowledge Management, Lifecycle Events, and HR Service Portal.
• Translate business requirements from HR stakeholders into scalable, well-governed technical solutions aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
• Lead solution design workshops, produce architecture documentation (solution designs, integration diagrams, data models), and present recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Define and enforce coding standards, platform governance, and configuration best practices across the HRSD workstream.
• Architect integrations between ServiceNow and third-party/HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, payroll systems) using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
• Oversee data model design, security architecture (ACLs, data policies, PII handling), and platform scalability considerations specific to HR data.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and configuration analysts within the project team.
• Conduct code and design reviews to ensure solutions meet performance, security, and maintainability standards.
• Support pre-sales and scoping activities, including effort estimation and technical proposal input, where required.
• Stay current with ServiceNow platform releases and HRSD product roadmap, advising on upgrade impacts and new feature adoption.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (including GDPR) in the handling of employee data within the platform.
• What You Bring
• 8+ years of total IT experience with at least total 6+ years of ServiceNow experience, including strong hands-on HRSD experience and solution architecture/technical leadership exposure in complex implementation projects
• Proven experience architecting and delivering at least 2–3 full-cycle HRSD implementations.Strong knowledge of ServiceNow HRSD modules: Employee Case Management, Employee Center Pro, Lifecycle Event Management, Document Management, and Knowledge Management.
• Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform fundamentals: Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Portal/UI Builder, ACLs, Business Rules, Script Includes, and CMDB.
• Experience designing integrations with HRIS/payroll systems (SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar).
• Exposure to multi-country/multi-language HR service delivery configurations.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.ServiceNow certifications required: Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist – HRSD.
• Additional certifications preferred: Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities for HR use cases.
