Job summary

AMD is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and optimize ServiceNow applications (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD) with integrations via REST APIs and Integration Hub. The candidate should bring hands-on experience with AI-driven capabilities on the Now Platform, including Now Assist and Virtual Agent.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of ServiceNow development and administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM, HRSD, ITOM on the Now Platform.
• Experience with AI-driven features like Now Assist/Virtual Agent.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices is a plus.

ServiceNow Developer

Position Description: AMD is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in ServiceNow applications (e.g. ITSM, ITOM, HRSD), platform configuration, custom application development, and integrations. The ideal candidate will bring strong AI/GenAI experience, including applied use of AI-driven automation. Additionally, the candidate will have hands-on experience delivering AI capabilities within the ServiceNow platform (e.g. Now Assist, Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations (using REST APIs, JDBC, MID servers, and Integration Hub) with a focus on keeping the instance as Out-of-the-Box as possible.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, ACLs, and notifications.
• Collaborate with various teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and implement AI‑driven solutions leveraging the ServiceNow platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with ServiceNow platform, configurations and customizations.
• Provide expertise on technical questions related to the development of ServiceNow functions.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support.
• Drive development using agile methodology and software development processes.
• Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, enhancements, and reviewing and aligning to instance health scans.
• Develop and maintain documentation for ServiceNow configurations and customizations.
• Stay up to date with ServiceNow releases, new features, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and prioritized completion of deliverables.

Preferred Experience:

• 4-6 years of experience in the ServiceNow platform across administration and development.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform and architecture.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and familiarity with ServiceNow HR Service Delivery, Application Portfolio Management/Enterprise Architecture, and/or ITOM applications (CMDB, Discovery, Event Management).
• Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework and other testing tools.
• Experience with Virtual Agent and Now Assist or similar Generative AI solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices is a plus.

• Ability to analyze and estimate time required for technical solution design and implementation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
