Job summary

NTT DATA in Bengaluru, India is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The role focuses on developing and configuring applications on the ServiceNow platform, with emphasis on ITSM modules and integration work.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, JavaScript skills, and familiarity with Flow Designer, REST/SOAP, and MID Server. Strong collaboration and Agile/Scrum experience are also valued. This is an on-site opportunity in Bangalore.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Request.
• Hands-on with Password Reset automation and IT policies/FAQs.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow Glide APIs.
• Experience with REST and SOAP integration, and MID Server.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop scripts using Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Client Scripts.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform

• Build and maintain self-service password reset (SSPR) solutions
• Design and manage knowledge bases for IT policies and FAQs
• Configure ticket triage and intelligent routing using assignment rules and predictive intelligence
• Create and maintain Service Catalog items, record producers, and request workflows
• Develop scripts using Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Client Scripts
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
• Strong knowledge of ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request), Flow Designer and Workflow Editor, Service Catalog and Knowledge Management
• Hands‑on experience with Password Reset automation, workflow automation use cases, IT policies/FAQ implementation, ticket triage and routing mechanisms
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow Glide APIs
• Experience in integration technologies (REST, SOAP, MID Server)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Experience with Virtual Agent or chatbot implementations
• Exposure to Predictive Intelligence / AI‑based routing
• Basic knowledge of CMDB and ITOM
