Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced ServiceNow AI Developer in India to build enterprise AI governance, agent management, and responsible AI adoption.

You will integrate external AI platforms, manage AI assets lifecycle, and ensure secure CI/CD for AI workflows using Now Assist Kit and Build Agent within ServiceNow environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional ServiceNow development experience (hands-on scripting, Studio, App Engine).
• Strong CMDB and CSDM knowledge including data modeling and health of configuration data.
• Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Graph Connectors.
• Hands-on ACLs, roles, and persona-based access controls within ServiceNow environments.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external AI/ML platforms.

Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a ServiceNow AI Developer based in India.

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to build and enhance enterprise solutions focused on AI governance, agent management, and responsible AI adoption. You will work at the intersection of ServiceNow platform engineering, AI governance, enterprise architecture, and intelligent automation. The role involves developing AI agents and custom skills, integrating external AI platforms, and managing the lifecycle of AI assets across complex enterprise environments. You will also help establish secure controls, access policies, compliance frameworks, and reliable data models for AI initiatives. Working closely with technical, risk, security, and governance stakeholders, you will contribute to the responsible scaling of AI capabilities. This is an opportunity to work with emerging agentic AI technologies while delivering robust, maintainable enterprise solutions.

Accountabilities

• Design, configure, customize, and extend ServiceNow AI Control Tower capabilities to support enterprise-wide AI governance, security, and lifecycle management.
• Build and maintain custom AI agents, skills, flow actions, and subflows using the Now Assist Skill Kit, Build Agent, and related ServiceNow capabilities.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external AI and machine learning platforms, including AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, GCP Vertex AI, and Copilot Studio, using Service Graph Connectors and other integration technologies.
• Manage CMDB and CSDM data models to ensure AI assets are accurately represented, tracked, and maintained as configuration items.
• Configure and troubleshoot ServiceNow plugins, application scopes, dependencies, activation sequences, and access controls.
• Implement appropriate ACLs, roles, and persona-based access controls to support secure AI platform operations.
• Collaborate with AI Stewards, risk and compliance professionals, security teams, and platform administrators to implement governance policies, risk assessments, and compliance requirements.
• Support AI Agent Fabric capabilities and protocols, including MCP and A2A, to facilitate secure communication and interaction between AI agents.
• Manage AI assets throughout their lifecycle, from initial intake and assessment through deployment, monitoring, and retirement.
• Develop clean, maintainable ServiceNow scripts and workflows using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
• Support version control, testing, quality assurance, rollback procedures, and continuous improvement of custom AI skills and platform solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional ServiceNow development experience, including strong hands‑on experience with scripting, Studio, and App Engine.
• Strong knowledge of CMDB and CSDM, including CI classes, relationships, data modeling, and configuration data health.
• Practical experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Graph Connectors.
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing ACLs, roles, and persona‑based access controls within ServiceNow environments.
• Experience managing plugins, application scopes, dependencies, and activation sequences.
• Solid understanding of AI and agentic AI concepts, including AI agents, Large Language Models, AI skills, tool orchestration, and intelligent workflows.
• Experience with the Now Assist Skill Kit and/or Build Agent for developing custom AI skills and agents.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities, particularly when working across complex enterprise platforms and multi‑system integrations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, governance, risk, security, and compliance teams.
• ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or Certified Implementation Specialist are advantageous.
• Knowledge of AI governance, risk, compliance, IRM, or GRC concepts is highly valued.
• Familiarity with AI Agent Fabric protocols such as MCP and A2A is beneficial.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with third‑party AI/ML platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Google Cloud Vertex AI is preferred.
• Completion of ServiceNow AI Control Tower implementation training or equivalent practical experience is an advantage.
