Job summary

Siemens is hiring a Service Engineer-LV Drives for Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The candidate will provide service support on short notice, manage service contracts, retrofits, and spare parts, and drive growth through lead generation for the sales team.

Extensive travel across Jharkhand, Bihar, and PAN India is expected. The role requires BE or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics, solid LV drive knowledge, and familiarity with Siemens drives like G120, S120, G130, MM440, servo motors, and PLCs.

Qualifications

• Requires BE/Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics or similar.
• 5+ years (BE) / 7+ years (Diploma) of drives service experience.
• Experience with industries like steel, cement, textile, paper, polyfilm; CRM/CGL/HSM process lines.
• Strong communication and service orientation.
• Knowledge of Siemens drives (G120/S120/G130/MM440) and PLC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• To provide service support to customers at a short notice and ensure customer delight
• Drive service business portfolio ( service contract , retrofits , spare parts , repairs )
• To provide lead generation to sales team for business growth
• To monitor & take actions on open calls, escalated cases, KPI
• Focus on industry segment like Sugar / Cranes / petrochemical /Metal/ Paper Industries apart from discrete industries which is in line with our portfolio growth commitment
• Extensive and frequent travel (daily/local + occasional PAN India)
• Must be available for 24/7 breakdown support

Location: Jamshedpur, Jharkhand

Pre- requisites:

• 1. BE/ Diploma in Electrical / Electronics or similar qualification
• 2. Good Knowledge on Low Voltage drives with engineering & commissioning / service exposure of 5+years (for BE) / 7+ years (for Diploma) experience in drives.
• 3. Application and maintenance knowledge in various industries like Steel, Cement, Textile, Paper, Polyfilm, teel process lines like CRM, CGL, HSM etc.
• 4. Good communication skills & service attitude is important.
• 6. Know how on Siemens Drives like G120, S120, G130, Micromaster (MM440), Servo motors & PLC will be considered as additional benefit
