Job summary

HNC Motion Control is seeking a service engineer to install, commission, and service CNC machines and industrial automation systems across client sites in India. You will troubleshoot CNC controllers from Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Syntec, and related drives, and perform programming and fault-finding on PLC-based automation systems.

The role requires reading electrical diagrams, ladder logic, and schematics, with travel to customer sites and a preference for candidates holding a Diploma/Degree

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control (IC) or Mechatronics.
• Knowledge of CNC controllers, drives, VFDs, sensors and servo motors is essential.
• Experience with PLC-based automation systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and service CNC machines and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot CNC controllers (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Syntec, etc.).
• Program, fault-find, and maintain PLC-based automation systems.
• Read electrical drawings, ladder logic, and schematics.

Responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing of CNC machines and industrial automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting CNC controllers (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Syntec, etc.).
• Programming, fault finding, and maintenance of PLC-based automation systems.
• Diagnosis and repair of electrical, electronic, and control systems.
• Reading electrical drawings, ladder logic, and schematics.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of CNC controllers, drives, VFDs, Sensors, and Servo Motors.
• Ability to use testing instruments (Multimeter, Clamp meter, etc.).

Qualification:

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control (IC), or Mechatronics.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel for service work.
• Two-wheeler driving license preferred.
