Gilbarco Veeder-Root is looking for a dynamic Field Service Engineer to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fuel dispensers and forecourt automation at customer sites in Chitradurga and surrounding areas in Karnataka.

The role welcomes freshers or candidates with hands-on experience in electrical, electronics, or mechanical/mechatronics, and requires willingness to travel locally, a valid Indian driver's license, and a functional 2-wheeler.

Qualifications

• ITI, Diploma, or Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics engineering stream.
• Must own a functional 2-wheeler for daily regional commute.
• Must hold a valid Indian Driver's License.
• High willingness to handle extensive local/on-field travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service fuel dispensers and related equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts and technical support.
• Ensure timely resolution of service requests while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and root cause analysis documentation.
