We need young, enthusiastic engineers - mechanical/ electrical for servicing heavy track maintenance machines being supplied to various Metros in the country like Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRC). They must also follow a strict safety code during work. The current hiring is for the next phase of growth which is anticipated over the next 2-3 years.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform operation and maintenance activities on track maintenance machines.
- Conduct preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum machine availability.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic faults and implement corrective action.
- Lead and guide junior engineers/technicians during servicing and field maintenance tasks.
- Prepare maintenance reports, daily work logs, and fault analysis documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and industry standards while working on-site.
- Interpret engineering and technical drawings, schematics, and manuals for troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with OEMs, internal teams, and client representatives for smooth operations.
- Ensure timely availability of tools, spare parts, and consumables.
- Support machine commissioning, testing, and performance validation.
- Travel regularly to various project sites across India based on operational needs.
- Work extended hours during critical machine breakdowns or project requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Age: 21 to 35 years
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, electronics, mechatronics, or related fields.
- Prior experience (minimum 2 years) as a Service Engineer for industrial/heavy machines is mandatory.
- Proven skills in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and root-cause analysis.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi (both written and verbal).
- Additional regional languages will be considered an advantage.
- Good computer proficiency; working knowledge of MS Office is essential.
- Experience with AutoCAD, design software, and engineering drawings is a strong advantage.
- Must follow a strict safety code and demonstrate high discipline on-site.
- Physically fit with good eyesight, normal colour vision, and strong hearing ability.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Flexible to travel extensively and work in rotational or extended hours based on project needs.
- Previous experience working with rail grinding machines or railway O&M machinery will be an added benefit.
