Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, or Risk Management and Insurance; Master’s in Statistics preferred.
• CPCU certification from Insurance Institute of America (IIA).
• Insurance Institute of America (IIA), Personal General Insurance (PGI) - Singapore College of Insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Manage underwriting service delivery teams, ensuring SLAs are met and mentoring Domain Experts and Assistant Managers.
• Facilitate goal-setting processes and cascade objectives to associates.
• Monitor, analyze, and present insights on underwriting performance trends using analytics for improvement.
• Lead governance discussions with UK stakeholders on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Strengthen risk management and control frameworks to identify and mitigate functional risks.
• Partner with senior management to design and execute strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Oversee talent management, including hiring, redeployment, and career development.
