Job summary

vidaXL is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to join our Performance Marketing Team and elevate organic search performance across our webshops. You will lead digital PR initiatives, manage external agencies, and execute high-impact link-building strategies to grow visibility on Google and AI/LLM platforms.

In this role you will collaborate with Content, Social, and SEA teams, monitor key metrics in Google Analytics and Search Console, and stay ahead of industry trends to keep our off-page

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Digital Marketing experience focused on Digital PR, off-page optimization, or link building.
• Proven track record of managing external agencies, vendors, or freelancers.
• Ability to develop an annual off-page SEO strategy and align it with other departments.
• Proficient with Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and speed monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data from Google Analytics into actionable insights.
• Knowledge of how SEO integrates with content marketing and online PR.
• Excellent Excel skills and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written).

You will:

• Agency Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for our external PR and link-building agencies, ensuring deliverables align with corporate SEO objectives and targets.
• Digital PR Campaigns:Conceptualize, execute, and monitor digital PR initiatives designed to earn high-authority media coverage and brand mentions that boost visibility on Google and LLM recommendation engines.
• Link Building:Implement effective link-building strategies to build high-quality backlinks and enhance search authority within the competitive home and garden retail space.
• Backlink Profile Health:Analyze link profile reports and find patterns of potential spammy links to update disavow files and maintain a clean, resilient backlink profile.
• Competitor Insights:Conduct competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and off-page link opportunities for improvement in the overarching SEO strategy.
• Performance Tracking:Track and report on key off-page SEO metrics such as referral traffic, domain authority metrics, keyword rankings, and conversion rates stemming from off-page campaigns.
• Data Analysis:Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs.
• Cross-Department Collaboration:Coordinate off-page and PR strategies with other digital marketing departments, such as Social Media, Content Marketing, and SEA, to ensure a unified brand message.
• Industry Evolution:Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and standard methodologies in SEO to ensure our off-page strategies remain effective and aligned with modern search guidelines.

You have:

• Experience:5+ years of Digital Marketing experience specifically focused on Digital PR, off-page optimization, or outreach link building.
• Agency & Partner Management:Proven track record of managing external agencies, vendors, or freelance networks to successfully deliver marketing goals.
• Strategic Capability:Ability to develop a yearly off-page SEO strategy and seamlessly integrate it with broader digital marketing and communication departments.
• Tools:Proficient working knowledge of various SEO tools: Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, speed monitoring tools.
• Analytical Skills:Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data from Google Analytics to drive actionable insights and recommendations.
• Content & PR Synergy:Solid grasp of how SEO integrates with content marketing, online PR, and media outreach.
• Core Competencies:Good knowledge of Excel, a positive can-do attitude, and a strong desire to learn.
• Communication:Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate efficiently with external media contacts.
• Language Skills:Good English skills – both verbal and written.
