Job summary

c3digitus (a c3controls company) is seeking an SEO & AI Search Specialist to own organic growth for a select set of customers. You will drive strategy across traditional search, AI engines, and cross-channel distribution.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on SEO, strong knowledge of AI search and large-scale content systems, and collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Content teams. This is a full-time Mumbai position with a focus on measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on and strategic SEO experience in SaaS or B2B.
• Experience shaping and executing measurable SEO strategies.
• Strong understanding of AI search, AEO/GEO, and LLM-driven discovery.
• Deep keyword research, intent mapping, and content planning.
• Solid technical SEO including indexing, crawlability, JS SEO, and site architecture.
• Experience collaborating across teams; mentoring juniors is a plus.
• Proficient with GSC, GA4, Semrush/Ahrefs and SEO diagnostic tools.
• Structured, analytical thinker with strong prioritization skills.
• Experience with programmatic SEO or large-scale content systems.
• Familiar with CRO and experimentation.
• Experience supporting SEO across multiple markets/regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead keyword, topic, and entity research with strong intent mapping.
• Collaborate with content writers to ensure SEO and UX are integrated from the start.

We're building a growth team for customer success, and we are looking for an SEO & AI Search Specialist to own organic growth for a small set of our customers across search, AI engines, and channel-level distribution.
Search is changing fast. Buyers now discover brands through Google, through AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews, and through communities and creators on YouTube, LinkedIn, and Reddit. We are looking for someone who understands this new landscape deeply and can confidently build growth across all of it.

As a SEO and AI Search Specialist, you'll need to have:

• 2+ years of hands-on and strategic SEO experience, preferably in SaaS or B2B category.
• Experience contributing to or owning SEO strategy execution with measurable impact.
• Strong understanding of AI search, AEO/GEO, and LLM-driven content discovery.
• Deep expertise in keyword research, intent mapping, and content strategy.
• Solid technical SEO knowledge (indexing, crawlability, JS SEO, site architecture).
• Experience collaborating across teams; exposure to mentoring junior team members is a plus.
• Highly hands-on with GSC, GA4, Semrush/Ahrefs, and SEO diagnostic tools.
• Clear, structured, and analytical thinker with strong prioritization skills.
• Experience with programmatic SEO or large-scale content systems.
• Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and experimentation.
• Experience supporting SEO efforts across multiple markets or regions.
• Execute and contribute to the end-to-end SEO and AEO/GEO strategy aligned with company OKRs.
• Build and execute organic growth plans across traditional search engines and AI-driven answer platforms.
• Support positioning the brand as a trusted source for AI-generated answers.
• Lead keyword, topic, and entity research with strong intent mapping.
• Decide what content to build, why, and how it drives business impact.
• Collaborate closely with content writers to ensure SEO, UX, and clarity are embedded from
  the start.
• Apply strong UX principles to content structure, tone, layout, and overall usability.
• Ensure content is optimized for users first, while remaining search- and AI-friendly.
• Track and analyze performance using Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush/Ahrefs, and
  related SEO tools.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to support SEO
  initiatives.
• Directly report the business impact of SEO initiatives to leadership & ideate growth strategies
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior SEO or content team members, as needed.

Education, Other Requirements:

• Graduate/Diploma or Equivalent degree in Marketing.
• At least 2 years of prior experience in SEO/AI Visibility.
• Ability to think creatively, strategically and identify/resolve complex problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill (English)
• Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to work within a team and independently.
• Self-starter attitude with the ability to handle frequent feedback.

Position type and hours of work:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 11:00am - 8:00pm, 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Working environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax/scanner machines.
