Job Description: Senior Full Stack Developer

Position Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with the ability to build scalable and high-performance applications. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development and architecture of new features, ensuring the smooth integration of both front-end and back-end systems, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

Full Stack Development:

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications across the full stack (front-end and back-end).

Implement server-side logic, database management, and ensure data persistence and API development.

Develop APIs and services for integrations with other platforms and third-party services.

Ensure applications are mobile-responsive, user-friendly, and have optimal performance.

Contribute to the design and architecture of complex web applications, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.

Lead the design and implementation of software solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical requirements.

Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Mentorship and Leadership:

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, guiding them on technical challenges and best practices.

Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the development team.

Work closely with front-end and back-end engineers, UX/UI designers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.

Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Testing and Debugging:

Write unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure the reliability and quality of the codebase.

Troubleshoot and debug application issues across both front-end and back-end environments.

Monitor the health and performance of applications in production and proactively address any issues.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes that can improve the development workflow and application performance.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency:

Strong back-end development experience using Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or other relevant technologies.

Solid experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), and familiarity with ORM tools.

Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar.

Proficiency in version control systems, especially Git.

Development Tools & Practices:

Strong understanding of software development methodologies, especially Agile (Scrum/Kanban).

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.

Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress, or similar).

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Proven ability to mentor and guide junior developers, fostering team growth and knowledge sharing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience in full-stack web development.

Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.

Familiarity with front-end build tools and bundlers such as Webpack or Parcel.

Knowledge of web security best practices.

Familiarity with GraphQL and server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks.
