Job summary

A leading production company is seeking an experienced Video Editor to lead post-production for a high-profile mythological cinematic series. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional experience along with strong leadership skills and a proven portfolio. The successful candidate will edit live-action footage and collaborate closely with directors and junior editors while ensuring high-quality standards in a creative and fast-paced environment. A solid understanding of cinematic storytelling and advanced video editing techniques is essential.

Work Mode: Work From Office Only (Strictly no WFH)

Project Duration: 6 Months (Mythological Series)

Employment Type: Full-time | Project-based

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month (based on skill & capability)

This role demands initiative, leadership, and strong storytelling instincts. Waiting for creative inputs is not ideal you are expected to proactively contribute ideas and solutions.

Experience is judged by skill, not years.

Whether you have 2 years or 6 years of experience if you can deliver at this level, you are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end post-production for assigned episodes/sequences.
• Edit live-action footage, AI-generated visuals, and motion graphics into a cohesive cinematic narrative.
• Take ownership of sound design, background score placement, SFX, and audio balance.
• Maintain strong story rhythm, pacing, emotional beats, and cinematic continuity.
• Guide, mentor, and review work of Junior Editors, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with Creative Director, motion designers, and AI artists.
• Actively contribute creative ideas, editorial approaches, and visual solutions.
• Train junior team members on workflows, quality standards, and tools.
• Handle AI-based generation/editing workflows if required.
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high production standards.

Tools & Skills

• DaVinci Resolve and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
• After Effects (Motion Graphics & Title Animations)
• Sound design & music integration
• Solid understanding of cinematic storytelling and mythological narratives.
• Leadership mindset with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-expectation environments.
• Experience with motion graphics and AI workflows is a strong plus.
