Qualifications

• 15–21+ years in enterprise software engineering with hands-on architecture.
• Direct experience with investment/credit platforms (e.g., DealCloud, Geneva, Bloomberg).
• Private credit/direct lending or alt asset management domain knowledge preferred.
• Cloud and modern engineering stack: Azure or AWS, API-first, CI/CD, microservices.
• Applied AI/GenAI exposure or strong interest in agentic AI adoption.
• Proven track record building and scaling global engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.

Title: VP / SVP Investment Technology & Credit Engineering Lead

You’ll own the technology backbone behind a multi-billion-dollar private credit portfolio — the platforms that connect every deal, every trade, every dollar of cash movement, and every regulatory report for a firm operating across global markets. Few engineering leaders in India ever get their hands on the real architecture of institutional investing. This is that seat.

If you’ve spent your career being told the business problem instead of living inside it — this role flips that. You’ll sit next to portfolio managers, traders, and operations leaders, and the systems you build will directly decide how fast capital moves and how confidently a global investment committee can trust its own numbers.

What You’ll Own

• End-to-end technology leadership for the firm’s flagship investment platforms — Deal CRM, Order Management, Fund Accounting, and Cash Management serving front-office, trading, and operations teams globally.
• Architecture and integration across a live, high-stakes ecosystem: deal/relationship CRM, OMS, fund accounting, treasury/cash management, security master, and regulatory reporting — all talking to each other in real time.
• Cloud & data modernization — leading the migration from legacy, on‑premise infrastructure to a modern cloud-native, API‑first architecture, partnering with data engineering on next‑generation reporting and analytics.
• AI-forward engineering culture — you won’t just permit GenAI tooling, you’ll pioneer it: building AI‑powered agents that automate code review, change management, and operational workflows, and embedding agentic AI into how your team ships software every day.
• Team & talent leadership — build, mentor, and scale a high‑performing engineering organization; own hiring, succession planning, and a genuine talent‑development culture, including early‑career/graduate hiring programs.
• Direct stakeholder partnership with global business leaders, portfolio managers, and C‑suite technology leadership — translating investment strategy into technical roadmaps, not the other way around.

What You Bring

• 15–21+ years in enterprise software engineering, with deep, hands‑on architecture experience — not just people‑management altitude.
• Direct, verifiable experience with investment/credit technology platforms such as: DealCloud (Intapp), Allvue (Everest OMS), Geneva (Fund Accounting), HazelTree, IVP (Security Master), Bloomberg (FXGO), MarketAxess, SWIFT, LSEG / MiFID II reporting, or directly comparable buy‑side investment platforms.
• Private Credit, Direct Lending, or Alternative Asset Management domain experience strongly preferred — you understand deal pipelines, portfolio monitoring, and credit/loan workflows, not just generic financial services.
• Cloud & modern engineering stack: Azure or AWS, Databricks, API‑first integration, DevSecOps, CI/CD, microservices, distributed systems.
• Applied AI/GenAI exposure: LLM‑assisted engineering (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, LangChain‑class frameworks), or a genuine interest in leading agentic AI adoption inside an engineering org.
• Proven team‑building track record: hired, mentored, and scaled engineering teams across geographies; comfortable owning a global, distributed org — not just an India-only function.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required.
