Job summary

CH Finceptive Solutions in Ahmedabad seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting under US GAAP. You will manage AP/AR, assist with US tax filings, and coordinate payroll reconciliations.

The role also includes mentoring junior staff, ensuring process improvements, and providing audit support for US-based engagements. 3+ years of relevant experience and professional certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CA, CA Inter, or MBA certifications preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with tax preparation and review.

Responsibilities

• General Accounting & Month-End Close responsibilities.
• Financial reporting according to US GAAP (P&L, balance sheets).

Role & responsibilities

• General Accounting & Month-End Close:
• Financial Reporting: Review, analyze, and help prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) according to US GAAP standards.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR):
• US Taxation & Compliance: Assist with US federal and state tax filings (such as Form 1065, 1120, or sales/property taxes) depending on the specific firm focus.
• Payroll & Reconciliation: Oversee payroll entries, processing coordination, and related payroll account reconciliations.
• Review & Team Mentorship: Review work prepared by junior accountants or staff, provide technical guidance, and assist with process improvements.
• Audit Support: Gather documentation and resolve queries to support internal or external US-based audits

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certification such as CA or CA Inter or MBA
• 3+ years of experience with Tax Prep and Review
• Should have analytical and research skills

• MUST HAVE TAX RETURN REVIEWING EXPERIENCE
