Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a Senior Urban Designer in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The role focuses on leading city-scale planning projects, developing master plans, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality urban design outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in urban design, strong GIS/AutoCAD skills, and a deep understanding of Indian planning policies and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design.
• 10+ years of experience in urban design.
• Experience working on government, smart city, township, or urban development projects.
• Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, MS Office, and planning software/tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare master plans, development plans, and city/regional design proposals.
• Conduct land use analyses, zoning studies, infrastructure assessments, and urban growth projections.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including urban designers, architects, transportation planners, and engineers.
• Support preparation of DPRs, feasibility studies, policy documents, and planning reports.
