Job summary

JSChamps in Bengaluru, India, seeks a Senior UI Engineer to build and optimize the checkout experience with React.js and TypeScript-based microservices. Hybrid work arrangement requires 2–3 days on-site at our Bangalore development center.

You will own UI architecture, scalability, and modernization of front-end systems. You will develop checkout page UI components, integrate payment gateways, and create reusable libraries while focusing on performance and user experience.

Qualifications

• 9–10+ years of software engineering experience, including frontend focus.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, including hooks, context, and lifecycle concepts.
• Experience with checkout or payment flows is advantageous.
• Experience with state management tools such as Redux, Context API.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain checkout page UI components using React.js.
• Integrate with payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal) and other third-party services.

Job description

As a Senior UI engineer, you will build and optimize our checkout experience using React JS. You'll develop high-performance, user-friendly interfaces and ensure checkout and payment flows. in this role, you will own the UI architecture, scalability, reliability, and modernization of systems built using React as front end and and Node.js (TypeScript)-based microservices

This is a Hybrid position located at our Bangalore, India development center. You will be required to be on-site 2 to 3 days per week. When you are not working on-site, you will be working from your home office. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to our Bangalore office and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

Position Details:About the Role:

You will develop and maintain checkout page UI components using React.js

You will integrate with payment gateways (such as Stripe, PayPal) and other third-party services

You will build reusable component libraries and implement responsive, user-friendly designs

You will optimize application performance, conversion rates, and overall user experience

You will write clean, maintainable code supported by comprehensive tests using Jest and React Testing Library

You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver seamless solutions

You will embed AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot, LLM-based assistants, and automated test generation) into engineering workflowsAbout Candidate:

You should have 9–10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years focused on frontend development with strong proficiency in React.js, including hooks, context, and component lifecycle concepts

You should have experience with checkout or payment flows, which would be considered an added advantage

You should be experienced in state management approaches such as Redux, Context API, or similar tools
