Job summary

ixigo in Gurugram is seeking a Senior UI developer to join our tech team, shaping front-end features for our travel platform. You will design, build, and deploy components, collaborating with design and quality teams to deliver high-quality user interfaces.

You will implement scalable front-end architectures, work with AI-powered tools, and continuously improve development efficiency while maintaining a strong focus on usability and responsive design.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ReactJs and NextJs frameworks.
• Proficiency in JS design patterns and OOP/functional programming.
• Hands-on experience with front-end build tools (Grunt, Gulp, Webpack).
• Fluent in responsive design for mobile and tablet.
• Proficient in Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience writing unit tests and UI tests.
• Strong sense for visual appeal and usability.
• Experience with AI-powered development tools and AI-driven productivity initiatives.
• Understanding of AI agents and AI-driven workflows.

Job Description

As a Senior UI developer, you will be involved in all aspects of development playing a critical role in design, planning, development and deployment and help develop best practices for future development. You will be working closely with the Tech, Design and Quality team to build and launch the product.

• Code, develop, design and architect features related to the existing application. We expect you to own modules end to end and take pride in the work products you ship
• Design, implement and maintain highly scalable, multi-tier, distributed server software applications
• Deliver across the entire app life cycle, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
• Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Must have

• Knowledge about latest JS frameworks and libraries like ReactJs, NextJs
• JS design patterns and concepts of OOPS and functional programming in JS
• Practical working knowledge of front-end build tools like grunt, gulp, webpack etc.
• Fluent in responsive design and development for mobile and tablet devices
• Proficient with Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Proficient in writing unit tests and UI tests
• Sense for appeal & aesthetics from a usability perspective
• AI-first development approach with hands-on experience using AI-powered development tools.
• Ability to identify and implement AI-driven initiatives to improve engineering productivity and product capabilities.
• Understanding of AI agents, agentic workflows, and how AI agents work to automate development and business use cases.
