Job summary

ixigo is seeking a Lead UI Developer to drive UI architecture and feature development across our rail, air, buses and hotel platforms. You will design, plan, develop and deploy features, working with Tech, Design and Quality teams to ship polished products.

Responsibilities include owning modules end to end, building scalable multi-tier applications, and guiding the full product lifecycle from concept to release. A strong UI portfolio and solid JS expertise are required.

Qualifications

BE/BTech in Computer Science or related field from a premier engineering college.
Experience in internet companies or travel industry is a plus.
Strong front-end expertise and ability to own modules end to end.

Responsibilities

Code, develop, design and architect features for the existing application.
Own modules end to end and deliver high-quality work.
Design, implement and maintain scalable, multi-tier distributed server software.
Deliver the full app life cycle: design, build, deploy, test, release and support.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to conceptualise and release products.
Explore new technologies to improve development efficiency and reuse across lines of business.

As a Lead UI developer, you will be involved in all aspects of development, playing a critical role in the design, planning, development, and deployment and help develop best practices for future development. You will be working closely with the Tech, Design and Quality teams to build and launch the product.

Role & Responsibility :

Code, develop, design and architect features related to the existing application. We expect you to own modules end to end and take pride in the work products you ship

Design, implement and maintain highly scalable, multi-tier, distributed server software applications

Deliver across the entire app life cycle: design, build, deploy, test, release and support

Work directly with developers and product managers to conceptualise, build, test and release products

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency

Develop workflow/solution which gets reused across line of business.

Must have :

JS design patterns and concepts of OOPS and functional programming in JS

Practical working knowledge of front-end build tools like Vite, Webpack or Rspack, etc.

Eye for details & experience with design system

Sense for appeal & aesthetics from a usability perspective

Some UI portfolio or samples will be required
