Job summary

HealthRecon Connect is seeking a Senior Manager - Client Onboarding to lead end-to-end onboarding for healthcare RCM services. You will coordinate across sales, operations, and IT to ensure timely, compliant transitions for new clients.

You will develop SOPs, training materials and provide leadership, mentoring, and governance for onboarding teams while staying abreast of HIPAA and industry changes.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in RCM with 4+ years in people mgmt and 2+ years in onboarding/credentialing.
• Experience with healthcare regulations and HIPAA compliance is essential.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

We are hiring Senior Manager - Client Onboarding.

The Senior Manager Client Onboarding is responsible for leading and optimizing the client onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and efficient transition for new clients. This role involves coordinating with internal teams, streamlining onboarding procedures, and enhancing the overall client experience while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the onboarding process: Oversee and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and successful implementation of healthcare RCM services.


• Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact throughout the onboarding process and beyond, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and effectively.


• Requirements gathering: Collaborate with clients to gather and understand their specific requirements, workflows, and operational needs, ensuring accurate configuration and customization of RCM solutions.


• Project coordination: Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders such as sales, operations, and IT, to ensure timely completion of onboarding tasks, milestones, and deliverables.


• Documentation and training: Develop and maintain comprehensive onboarding documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials, to enable smooth knowledge transfer and user adoption for clients.


• Compliance adherence: Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and other industry-specific requirements during the onboarding process.


• Issue resolution: Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during the onboarding process, working closely with internal teams and clients to find timely resolutions and mitigate risks.


• Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the client onboarding function, recommending and implementing enhancements to streamline operations and enhance the client experience.


• Performance tracking and reporting: Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to onboarding activities, providing regular reports and updates to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.


• Industry knowledge: Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in healthcare RCM, ensuring the onboarding process aligns with current standards and requirements.


• Provide leadership, mentoring, coaching and education to develop and maintain an effective, well-trained staff based on performance standards.


• End-to-end transition governance and go-live ownership

Preferred candidate profile

• Any Bachelor's Degree


• At least 10 years RCM experience with at least 4 years in people management, plus 2 years of client onboarding / client transition / credentialing process management experience.


• Part or fulltime qualification Physician Practice Management, Medical Billing, Payer Credentialing, Medical Auditing, Coding, etc from a recognized professional body


• RCM & Client Onboarding (or Credentialing) overall technical knowledge


• Strong business expertise in project planning and management


• Excellent interpersonal & leadership skills


• Team player and conflict handling skills


• Ability to work under pressure with high level of perseverance
