Job summary

Gartner India Research & Advisory Services Private Limited seeks a Senior Test Engineer to plan, design, and execute manual and automated testing for Salesforce Service Cloud applications and integrated enterprise systems.

You will rely on Selenium WebDriver and Java or Playwright with JavaScript, perform API validation, and own end-to-end testing within Agile teams, while mentoring junior QA engineers to raise quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Salesforce Service Cloud testing experience.
• 4+ years in Agile testing environments.
• Experience designing Functional, Regression, Integration, E2E, and UAT tests.
• 3+ years automation using Selenium WebDriver with Java or Playwright with JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of integration testing, data validation, and data reconciliation across connected systems.
• Good working knowledge of SQL and backend validation.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira and Xray.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead E2E testing efforts and mentor junior QA engineers.

About the Role

The Senior Test Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing manual and automated testing for Salesforce Service Cloud applications and integrated enterprise systems. The role requires strong expertise in Salesforce testing, Selenium automation, API validation, and end-to-end integration testing within Agile teams. The successful candidate will also mentor junior team members and drive quality engineering best practices.

What You'll Need

Strong IT professional with 4-6 years of experience in manual and automation testing, including Salesforce CRM applications. The candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, ownership, accountability, and the ability to independently lead testing activities.

Must Have

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in Salesforce Service Cloud testing (Cases, Service Console, Omni-Channel, Knowledge, Entitlements, Email-to-Case, Web-to-Case).
• 4+ years of experience in Agile testing environments.
• Strong experience in designing and executing Functional, Regression, Integration, E2E, and UAT testing.
• 3+ years of automation experience using Selenium WebDriver, selenium with Java / playwright with JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of integration testing, data validation, and data reconciliation across connected systems.
• Good working knowledge of SQL and backend validation.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira and AIO/Xray.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lead E2E testing efforts and mentor junior QA engineers.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Playwright automation.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CloudBees, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with API automation frameworks such as REST Assured.
• Salesforce certifications (Administrator or Service Cloud Consultant).
• Experience working in enterprise‑scale Salesforce integration programs.
