About the role:

Gartner is seeking a full-time SugarCRM Developer to join our Sales Service and Corporate Engineering team. In this role, you will design and develop customized solutions within SugarCRM, taking responsibility for SugarCRM development, API customization, and debugging to introduce new features and maintain the existing codebase.

• Participate in code reviews, peer inspections, and technical design/specification discussions.
• Handle incidents and resolutions with a focus on root cause analysis.

Professionals with 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in SugarCRM development, API customization, and debugging. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SugarCRM, PHP, MySQL, Docker Desktop, and caching technologies such as ElastiCache and Redis. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, ownership, and accountability are essential.

Must have:

• Proficient in SugarCRM/ Suite CRM, PHP, MySQL, Docker Desktop, TDD (Test Driven Development) and caching solutions like ElastiCache & Redis.
• In‑depth knowledge of SugarCRM applications, including configuration, scheduling, reporting, administration, upgrade and database design.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong foundation in software development and object‑oriented design.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with deployment techniques and change management processes.
• Exposure to cloud services such as AWS (EC2, RDS, Code Deploy, CloudBees, SQS, Lambda) and programming languages like Python.
• Experience in Salesforce development and relevant certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer, Administrator).
