Job summary

3i Infotech is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead testing of LOS and corporate lending applications. You will validate loan workflows, perform API and mobile testing, and ensure data integrity through SQL validation.

You will drive end-to-end testing across SIT, UAT, and production validation, coordinating with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure quality releases.

Qualifications

• Experience with LOS/Loan Origination System.
• Strong understanding of Corporate/Commercial Lending processes.
• Proficient in Manual Testing and Functional Testing.
• Hands-on API Testing experience.
• Mobile Application Testing experience on Android/iOS.
• Strong SQL and database validation skills.
• Proficient with defect tracking tools like JIRA/ALM.
• Experience across SIT, UAT, Regression, Sanity, Integration, and System Testing.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and Agile methodology.
• Advantage: data validation and migration testing.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer with strong expertise in LOS and Corporate Lending applications. The candidate should have hands-on experience in functional, API, mobile application, database, integration, and regression testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and validate LOS workflows and Corporate Lending business processes, including loan application, credit assessment, approval, sanction, documentation, and disbursement.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test evidence based on business requirements.
• Perform Functional, System, Integration, Sanity, Smoke, and Regression Testing.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Validate REST/SOAP APIs, request/response, status codes, headers, authentication, business rules, and data integrity.
• Perform Mobile Application Testing on Android/iOS applications, including functional, UI, usability, compatibility, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate data using SQL queries and perform backend/database testing.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod, and Production validation cycles.
• Support data migration / application migration testing, including source-to-target data validation and post-migration integrity checks.
• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, ALM, or similar defect management tools.
• Participate in defect triage, root-cause analysis, walkthroughs, readiness checks, and release/cutover activities.
• Coordinate with developers, business analysts, product teams, and other stakeholders for issue resolution.
• Perform end-to-end business validation during cutover and post-deployment activities.
• Ensure testing deliverables are completed within defined timelines and quality standards.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in LOS / Loan Origination System.
• Good understanding of Corporate Lending / Commercial Lending processes.
• Strong experience in Manual Testing and Functional Testing.
• Hands-on experience in API Testing.
• Hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with JIRA / ALM or similar defect tracking tools.
• Experience in SIT, UAT, Regression, Sanity, Integration, and System Testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and Agile methodology.
• Experience in data validation and migration testing will be an added advantage.
