Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Validation Engineer to lead HiL/SiL testing for automotive systems in India. You will design test plans, develop cases, execute tests, and report results, collaborating with modeling, simulation, and cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes Python scripting, MATLAB/Simulink, and test automation to improve coverage and efficiency, with direct interaction with customers and global teams to discuss progress and validation findings.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with HiL and SiL testing environments in automotive projects.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and automation concepts.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python and experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience in ADAS testing, simulation, and virtual validation using tools such as IPG CarMaker, Hexagon VTD, or dSPACE.
• Experience in keyword-based test specification and deriving test cases from system requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Codebeamer for test case management, review workflows, and administration activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with modeling, testing, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with experience in direct customer interaction.
• Self-driven, proactive, and independent working style with a strong motivation for continuous learning and skill development.
