The Hitechi2iproduct team is building an industry-disruptive AI platform for real estate document automationcombining OCR, LLMs, machine learning, workflow orchestration, and human-in-the-loop validation.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer who will lead automation strategy across API, UI, workflow, performance, and ML/AI testing for enterprise-grade Hitech i2i.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for API, UI, workflow, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Build and execute automated API test suites using Postman, Newman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and custom scripting.
• Develop UI automation using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress with broad regression and compatibility coverage.
• Implement load, stress, and performance testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, Locust, or similar frameworks.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) with continuous quality gates.
• Develop automated health checks, smoke tests, and monitoring scripts to ensure platform stability.
• Design ML/AI model validation harnesses covering OCR output quality, extraction accuracy, prediction consistency, and drift detection using tools like Deepchecks, EvidentlyAI, and Great Expectations.
• Collaborate closely with backend, frontend, ML, and DevOps teams to drive quality, troubleshoot issues, and strengthen testing best practices.

Required Skills Experience

• 58 years of experience in Test Automation, with strong hands‑on scripting in Python, JavaScript, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Expertise in API automation using Postman, Newman, Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Strong experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress for UI automation.
• Experience with CI/CD test integration in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands‑on experience with performance/load testing tools: JMeter, Gatling, Locust, or equivalent.
• Experience building reusable, modular automation frameworks.
• Understanding of microservices‑based testing, backend/API debugging, and system reliability.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication, and debugging skills.

Preferred Background

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience working in SaaS product engineering or enterprise automation environments.
• Familiarity with ML/AI testing frameworks such as Deepchecks, EvidentlyAI, Great Expectations, MLflow test utilities.
• Exposure to OCR systems, AI document processing, or workflow automation platforms.
• Understanding of enterprise security, quality gates, data validation, and multi‑tenant testing scenarios.
• Experience testing applications deployed on cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
