We are looking for a Jira Administrator with strong TechOpsfundamentals to architect and implement a centralized request managementframework in Jira. The role requires hands-on experience with Jiraadministration, automation, and permissions, complemented by core TechOpsskills essential for secure, reliable, and scalable system operations.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and configure a centralized landingpage/dashboard in Jira for request intake.
- Create and manage Jira boards with tailored JQLfilters.
- Manage custom workflows, issue types, fields,and screens to support the request lifecycle.
- Develop and implement Jira Automation rules todirect requests based on defined routing criteria (e.g., components, labels).
- Establish fallback and alert mechanisms formisrouted or failed automation flows.
Access and permissions
- Define user roles and permission schemes forsecure and scoped access across groups.
- Set up board-level access controls and validaterole-based restrictions.
System administrationand governance
- Perform system health checks, troubleshooting,and regular Jira maintenance.
- Implement audit logging, change management, andconfiguration documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gatherrequirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Support sprint planning and delivery with Agileboard setup and backlog grooming.
Integrations
- Maintain integration hygiene across Jira,Confluence, and external systems (e.g., CI/CD, monitoring).
