Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Define and execute technology strategies, roadmaps, and transformation initiatives aligned with business objectives and long-term organizational growth.
• Lead large-scale technology functions across investment platforms, client platforms, data and analytics, and enterprise engineering.
• Drive cloud adoption, application modernization, infrastructure transformation, and scalable technology architecture using platforms such as AWS and GCP.
• Oversee technology solutions supporting investment operations, portfolio management, fixed income, real estate investments, investment accounting, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage and optimize investment technology ecosystems, including platforms such as Aladdin, eFront, State Street solutions, Finastra products, SS&C platforms, MRI, or comparable systems.
• Lead enterprise data platform development, data management, analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise reporting initiatives to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
• Identify and implement opportunities involving artificial intelligence, Generative AI, robotic process automation (RPA), and intelligent automation to streamline processes and enhance business capabilities.
• Build, develop, and manage high-performing engineering teams across geographies, fostering innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Establish technology standards, engineering governance frameworks, architectural principles, and best practices across enterprise technology functions.
• Lead large-scale transformation programs involving cloud migration, application modernization, DevOps, Agile delivery, data engineering, and enterprise systems integration.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technology Leader – IT with 15+ years of experience in asset management, investment management, wealth management, capital markets, or financial services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large-scale technology organizations, driving enterprise-wide digital transformation, modernizing cloud infrastructure, and managing global engineering teams.

This role will be responsible for shaping enterprise technology strategy, overseeing investment and client platforms, strengthening data and analytics capabilities, and leading technology modernization initiatives. The candidate should combine deep financial services domain knowledge with expertise in cloud architecture, application modernization, data platforms, automation, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience

• 15+ years of professional experience in technology leadership roles within asset management, investment management, wealth management, capital markets, or financial services organizations.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise technology functions, large engineering organizations, and complex digital transformation programs.
• Strong expertise in cloud architecture, particularly AWS and/or GCP, application modernization, enterprise architecture, and cloud migration.
• Experience managing investment platforms, client-facing technology solutions, data platforms, analytics, and enterprise engineering functions.
• Exposure to asset management and investment technology platforms such as Aladdin, eFront, State Street solutions, Finastra, SS&C, MRI, or equivalent systems.
• Deep understanding of investment operations, fixed income, portfolio management, real estate investments, investment accounting, compliance, and reporting.
• Proven experience driving AI, Generative AI, RPA, intelligent automation, data management, and enterprise reporting initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps, data engineering, and modern software delivery practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage global stakeholders and influence technology strategy across North American or international markets.
• Experience building high-performing engineering teams, developing technology leaders, and establishing effective engineering governance.
