Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, accuracy, and availability of production fixtures and tooling.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of fixtures and tooling.
• Troubleshoot fixture-related issues affecting quality, productivity, and safety.
• Repair worn, damaged, or misaligned fixture components.
• Maintain fixture geometrical accuracy and repeatability.
• Coordinate fixture overhauls and refurbishment activities.
• Maintain MIG, TIG, Spot Welding, and Robot Welding fixtures.
• Ensure proper clamping, locating, and positioning accuracy.
• Inspect locator pins, clamps, cylinders, sensors, and guide mechanisms.
• Verify fixture dimensions against approved drawings and standards.
• Restore fixture integrity after production-related damage.

Experience - 4 to 5 Yrs. with Diploma / 6 to 8 Yrs. with ITI

1) To ensure the reliability, accuracy, and availability of all production fixtures, welding fixtures, assembly fixtures, checking fixtures, and tooling used in catalytic converter manufacturing. Responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, modification, refurbishment, and continuous improvement of fixtures to support safe, quality, and efficient production operations.

2) Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production fixtures and tooling.

3) Troubleshoot fixture-related issues affecting quality, productivity, and safety.

4) Repair worn, damaged, or misaligned fixture components.

5) Maintain fixture geometrical accuracy and repeatability.

6) Coordinate fixture overhauls and refurbishment activities.

7) Maintain MIG, TIG, Spot Welding, and Robot Welding fixtures.
