Covestic Inc. seeks a Senior Programme Manager to oversee the Jira & Confluence Cloud migration programme from foundation through wave execution, cutover, and stabilization.

You will connect migration engineering, change/training workstreams, and leadership to deliver a single source of truth in Jira/Confluence. You will lead governance, RAID, and executive reporting while coordinating cross-vendor dependencies and readiness activities, including post-migration stabilization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in technology programme management, including large-scale migrations.
• Experience running wave-based programmes with formal entry/exit criteria and cutover planning.
• Strong knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence) as delivery and migration tools.
• Mature RAID, governance, and executive-reporting craft in multi-vendor environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work India hours with US Eastern overlap.

Job description

ROLE PURPOSE

Provide integrated programme management oversight across all project management activities of the Jira & Confluence Cloud migration programme — planning, dependencies, risks, governance, and reporting — from the foundation phase through wave execution, cutover, and stabilization. This role is the connective tissue between Client's migration engineering team, integration workstreams, change and training workstreams, and programme leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain the integrated programme plan aligned to Client's wave model (Foundation in Q4 2026; Wave 1 in Q1 2027; Wave 2 in Q2 2027; Wave 3 in Q3 2027; stabilization and business-as-usual transition in Q4 2027), tracking milestones, entry/exit criteria, and critical path.
• Run programme governance: status cadence, steering inputs, decision and action logs, and escalation management to Client programme sponsors.
• Own the RAID discipline — risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies — across migration engineering, integration rebuilds (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow touchpoints), organizational change management (OCM), and training workstreams.
• Coordinate wave planning and readiness: project inventory confirmation, wave assignment against complexity criteria, go/no-go inputs, and cutover-weekend coordination support.
• Track validation and verification activities to closure across staging and production migration cycles, including post-migration punch lists.
• Manage cross-vendor and cross-team dependencies, ensuring the Milestone specialist seats, Client teams, and any third parties operate against one plan and one source of truth (maintained in Jira/Confluence).
• Produce concise, executive-grade reporting for programme leadership: progress against plan, wave burn-down, adoption indicators, and forward risks.
• Support decommissioning tracking of the Data Center estate as waves complete and hypercare/stabilization coordination in Q4 2027.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 12+ years in technology programme/project management, including at least one enterprise-scale platform migration or SaaS transformation programme (5,000+ users or multi-business-unit scope).
• Demonstrated ability to run wave/release-based programmes with formal entry/exit criteria, cutover planning, and hypercare models.
• Strong working knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence) as both a delivery toolset and a migration subject.
• Mature RAID, governance, and executive-reporting craft; comfortable operating in a multi-vendor environment without direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders; ability to work India hours with reliable daily US Eastern overlap.

PREFERRED

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated environments (GxP-adjacent programme controls, validation-aware planning).
• SAFe or equivalent scaled-agile certification; PMP or PgMP.
• Prior exposure to Atlassian Data Center-to-Cloud migrations or Atlassian Cloud Enterprise administration.
