Job summary

Taazaa is hiring a Technical Lead - Java in Noida to guide the Backend Team. You will lead Java-based development, architect cloud-native SaaS products, and mentor developers.

You’ll collaborate with onsite and client teams, define technical roadmaps, and ensure scalable, reliable delivery. The role requires strong leadership, deep Java expertise, and hands-on coding across Spring ecosystem, microservices, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 8–12 years of exposure to Java.
• Proficient in Spring, Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring Cloud Config, and Spring WebFlux.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and development.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Competent in SQL with RDBMS like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Cassandra) is a plus.
• ORM: Hibernate, JPA, JDBC.
• Messaging systems: JMS, Kafka, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ.
• JUnit and mocking frameworks: Mockito, EasyMock, JMock.
• Cloud platforms: PCF or Azure; AWS experience is must.
• Version control: SVN, GIT.
• CI/CD: Jenkins; Build tools: Gradle, Maven, Ant.
• DDD, CQRS, performance testing with JMeter; REST, gRPC, GraphQL.
• Multi-tenancy and enterprise architecture design.

Responsibilities

• Provide development leadership and technical guidance to the team.
• Hands-on Java development with a focus on scalable, cloud-native SaaS solutions.
• Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and performance practices.
• Design, implement, and optimize REST, gRPC, and GraphQL services.

We are seeking a Java Lead with extensive hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, specifically Java 8, along with expertise in Spring Boot, microservices, and RDBMS. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of design patterns and demonstrate experience in architecting and maintaining cloud-native SaaS-based products.

A deep knowledge of modern software development practices and the ability to lead and mentor a development team is essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms and a track record of delivering scalable and resilient solutions are highly desired.

What You’ll Do

• Software development using Java and related technologies.
• Solve technical problems using cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
• Ensure code meets the required development standards and is optimized for performance.
• Perform peer code reviews using GIT pull requests.
• Propose multiple solutions to a problem and show how one option is better than another.
• Research and implement proof of concepts.
• Manage and own team code quality, ensuring use of best practices and proper code coverage.
• Manage team deliveries, unblocking team members, coordinating dependencies, and guiding technical approaches.
• Debug and analyze code to identify fixes for reported issues.
• Support delivered projects during the warranty period.
• Conduct requirement and impact analysis.
• Coordinate dependencies with onsite and external teams.
• Collaborate with the onsite team in scrum meetings.

Your Qualifications

Technical

• Competency in developing and consuming REST, gRPC, and GraphQL services.
• Experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and performance testing using JMeter
• AWS experience is must - S3, Cognito, EKS, KMS.
• Should have experience in multi tenancy.
• Experience in Architecture designing for enterprise software.
