Job summary

Cipla is seeking a dedicated compliance professional to implement and guide healthcare compliance across the organisation, advising internal stakeholders on ethics and regulatory requirements to uphold Cipla's reputation.

The role covers reviewing promotional and non-promotional materials, managing iPromo approvals, conducting trainings, and participating in field visits to capture industry trends and operational compliance insights for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Review and update compliance guidelines related to promotional and non-promotional materials
• Ensure alignment of Veeva Vault content review requirements with internal policies and regulatory expectations
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on compliant content development and dissemination
• Review and assess audit observations raised through internal, external, compliance, or process audits
• Timely closure of audit observations and implementation of effective preventive controls
• Review and approve iPromo requests including services and brand reminders in accordance with compliance requirements
• Ensure timely processing of approvals within defined turnaround times
• Maintain records and tracking mechanisms for transparency and audit readiness
• Conduct detailed content-level reviews of promotional and non-promotional materials
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks related to claims, messaging, and supporting documentation
• Provide feedback and recommendations to stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable guidelines
• Partner with Marketing, Medical, and other stakeholders to design compliant processes for campaigns and communication initiatives
• Provide practical compliance guidance to business teams on day-to-day operational matters
• Support implementation of compliant processes while balancing business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Conduct compliance inductions for new employees and relevant stakeholders
• Facilitate compliance clinics and awareness sessions on policies, procedures, and key compliance topics
• Develop training materials and ensure ongoing knowledge enhancement across functions
• Participate in periodic field visits to understand practical challenges, emerging trends, and compliance risks in the execution of promotional activities
• Gather feedback from field teams on compliance processes, promotional material review requirements, and approval workflows
• Provide real-time compliance guidance and support to Sales and Marketing teams to facilitate compliant execution of business activities
• Share field insights and business feedback with the Compliance function to support continuous improvement of guidelines, training, and communication programs

Job Purpose

Implement and guide healthcare compliance with applicable laws and regulations in a manner consistent with best practices for the entire Organisation, to ensure adherence to regulatory framework and advice internal stakeholders on compliance and ethics matters and thereby enhance the reputation of Cipla .

Review and update Compliance Guidelines for Promotional & Non-Promotional Materials

• Review and update compliance guidelines related to promotional and non-promotional materials

• Conduct detailed content-level reviews of promotional and non-promotional materials.

Compliance Advisory Support

• Partner with Marketing, Medical, and other stakeholders to design compliant processes for campaigns and communication initiatives
