About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Manager Talent Acquisition to lead and manage end-to-end recruitment across junior, mid-level, and senior positions. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of professional experience, with the majority of their career focused on Human Resources and Talent Acquisition.
The candidate should have strong expertise in understanding business requirements, developing effective sourcing strategies, managing stakeholders, and successfully closing positions across different levels of the organization. Strong communication, negotiation, and
stakeholder management skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Talent Acquisition processes, from understanding manpower requirements to candidate onboarding.
- Partner closely with business leaders and hiring managers to understand role requirements, team structures, skill requirements, and hiring priorities.
- Manage hiring for junior, mid-level, and senior positions, with the ability to independently handle critical and leadership-level mandates.
- Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, internal talent pools, campus hiring, professional networks, and other relevant channels.
- Conduct candidate screening and evaluate candidates based on technical/functional skills, experience, cultural fit, career aspirations, and organizational requirements.
- Own the recruitment pipeline and ensure timely movement of candidates through the various stages of the hiring process.
- Drive offer negotiation and closure, effectively managing candidate expectations around compensation, role, location, notice period, and career opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and hiring managers to provide regular updates on hiring progress, challenges, market availability, and expected closure timelines.
- Provide insights on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, market trends, and competitor hiring practices to support business hiring decisions.
- Identify bottlenecks in the recruitment process and implement initiatives to improve Time-to-Hire, Quality of Hire, Offer-to-Joining ratio, and overall recruitment efficiency.
- Maintain accurate recruitment data, dashboards, MIS, and hiring reports.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the Talent Acquisition team and support them in managing complex hiring requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Talent Acquisition strategies, processes, and best practices.
Key Skills & Competencies
- 8+ years of overall professional experience, with substantial experience in HR and Talent Acquisition.
- Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment across multiple levels and functions.
- Proven ability to successfully close both junior and senior-level positions, including niche and critical roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates and senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent candidate assessment, interviewing, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Strong understanding of sourcing channels and recruitment market dynamics.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective hiring strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to recruitment.
- Ability to manage multiple hiring mandates and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ownership, accountability, and execution orientation.
- Ability to work independently while also mentoring and collaborating with the wider TA/HR team.
Preferred Profile
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or a relevant qualification is preferred.
- Experience in a corporate Talent Acquisition / HR environment is preferred.
- Experience handling leadership, managerial, and critical hiring mandates will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in managing or mentoring a Talent Acquisition team will be preferred.
